Cyber farming, anyone?
For those of you who are not familiar with FarmVille it is a game that allows members of Face Book to manage a virtual farm by planting, growing and harvesting virtual crops and trees, and raising livestock.
Most guys and ladies in my office are hooked on to this new game. I, myself, feel so left out for I have not yet been tempted to buy a farm, although I long to buy a farm and start a sort of farm resort somewhere in Kerala in real life. So far it has remained only a dream for me while fellow Mallus have gone ahead and are fulfilling their urge at least in cyber space. Nor have I ever kept a cyber pet. Well I won't say I am not a victim of Face Book or Orkut, though. I am a member of both the social networking cite, and I have a couple of friends who I first met online and then in real life. Sorry Jeeva, I am hoping that you won't be reading this, for I am yet to meet her and her family, in real life. I digress. Should I or should I not test FarmVille is the question on my mind these days. Given the fact that I took have a rather feudal lineage, I am scared that I would get hooked on to this cyber life. I am happy blogging and tweeting. Maybe online farming or online love life is certainly not the thing for me.
